Other Info:
Runs should start at 4 p.m. If a bus has been arranged for a special
run, it will usually leave Fenwick Street in Wanchai at about 2 p.m.
Hash Cash
(usually) - Men $60, Women $30.
Transportation,
Food, Wine, Pre-Circle Munchies, Sex (before, during, or afterwards),
etc. usually costs extra, depending upon who or where you are and
whether or not hash cash wants to charge you more or less.
Occasionally
there will be food at the run site. This will be advertised beforehand
and additional cashwill be due. Usually those who wish to eat will
retire to a nearby restaurant organised by the hares. If none is
available, most hashers go to one in Wanchai.
Important note to
all Hashers:
Remember, hashing involves personal risk and uncertainty that cannot be
mitigated against. Each hasher must accept these risks themselves if
they wish to participate.
Regular hash
participants are encouraged to look after any new hash participants
that they might bring along.
Bringing
a mobile phone, flashlight, whistle, and plenty of water during a hash
activity is highly recommended for all hashers and is independent of
the location, time of year, and length of a particular run.
If
lost or injured during a hash, hashers should contact a committee
member to seek assistance. Additionally, from time to time, a limited
number of course maps or additional contact numbers will be handed out
at the start of a hash. If a hasher is in doubt of their own abilities
they should check with the run hare to obtain more information about a
particular run in order to make their own personal running decision.
